I was born in Porto in 1976.

I graduated in Biology in Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto and co-founded, in 2002, Mundo Científico, an SME dedicated to Science Education and Communication.

In 2002 I started working as a teacher at Colégio Luso-Francês, where I have been responsible for STEM Projects' development in school.
I have been working in the last 15 years with educational departments of several institutions, such as Serralves Foundation, Porto and Ovar Municipalities and private companies.
As a researcher I have been working in the evaluation of participatory processes in Citizen Science projects.

My practice have been focusing on active learning methodologies, such as Project-Based Learning, and lately on Forest School and Reggio Emilia approaches.
